Executive Summary
- OmanPro recorded 387 floated tenders first seen from 19 through 25 July 2026. Of those, 380 still had bid closing dates on or after the 26 July snapshot date.
- SME access remained the largest tender-type lane: 225 rows, or 58.1% of the weekly flow, were marked for small and medium enterprises.
- Preparation time is tight: 250 of the 380 still-open rows close within 14 days of the snapshot.
Supply contributed 226 rows and the Ministry of Health 165, but the practical task is to separate fit from volume. Businesses need to check the actual requirement, tender type, grade, document-sales date and remaining preparation time before committing bid resources.
This week's tender flow
| Metric | 19-25 July result |
|---|---|
| Floated tenders first seen | 387 |
| Still open on 26 July | 380 |
| SME tenders | 225 |
| Open tenders | 129 |
| Still-open tenders closing within 14 days | 250 |
The five leading entities accounted for 299 rows, or 77.3% of the weekly flow. This is a monitoring-priority map, not a recommendation to pursue every tender from a high-volume entity.
The Ministry of Health alone represented 42.6% of the weekly total. The other four leaders contributed another 134 rows, while 88 rows came from entities outside the top five.
Supply leads a broader category mix
Supply represented 58.4% of the weekly flow. That label covers varied requirements, so a broad supply alert still needs title, entity, eligibility and document checks. For a focused view of the technology lane, see the July analysis of Oman IT tenders.
Almost two thirds close within 14 days
| Bid closing window from 26 July | Still-open tenders | Share of 380 |
|---|---|---|
| 0-7 days | 131 | 34.5% |
| 8-14 days | 119 | 31.3% |
| 15-30 days | 70 | 18.4% |
| 31+ days | 60 | 15.8% |
The 0-14 day queue contains 250 rows. Bid closing is not the same as document availability: the sales end date can arrive earlier, so a team should verify access before scheduling technical and commercial preparation.
Five notable tenders to review
These are not bid recommendations. Code ranked real, still-open rows using closing timing, entity activity, category relevance, SME access, sales-date availability and field completeness, then selected five different entities.

What businesses should watch next
Start with the 250-row near-term queue, then reject weak-fit tenders early. Confirm the tender type, sales end date, grade, location, scope and internal approval time. Construction firms can use the July construction-tender analysis, while technology suppliers can use the new IT-sector snapshot to narrow the weekly list.

Methodology and limitations
This analysis uses OmanPro's structured sync of the public Oman Tender Board dashboard. It counts floated rows with first_seen_at >= 2026-07-19 and < 2026-07-26; active status uses bid_closing_at >= 2026-07-26. A complete 47-page floated-list refresh finished at 12:01 Oman time on 26 July. OmanPro is independent from Tender Board.
first_seen_at records when OmanPro first stored a row and may be later than its original portal publication time. The full refresh discovered 49 deeper-page rows on 26 July. They are excluded from the seven-day weekly count, while the full refresh is used to verify which 19-25 July rows remained open. Seven weekly rows were already closed on the snapshot date. Tender values, attachments, bid openings and awards are excluded. Exact aggregates and selected rows are preserved in the paired factsheet.
